Scutum
Scutum's entire UK sales team in one room at the NEC, plus leadership and thirty vendor stands. They needed the website, the payment system, the check-in software, the lanyards, the logo wall, the slides, the awards — and someone there on the day with a camera. So we did all of it.
getting everyone in the room.
We built a landing page that had to work for two audiences at once. For Scutum staff it was the internal hub: the Shift to Action agenda, the dress code, the location, and RSVPs going straight to their line managers. For vendors, a payment system behind the scenes so partners could buy their Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze package without a single invoice changing hands.
more than just checking in software.
This was the engine of the day. Custom check-in software working as a live networking CRM across thirty vendor stands — logging which Scutum staff spoke to which vendors, capturing leads and scoping upcoming work on the spot.
Every vendor got their own QR code and booth profile. Because both sides were already checked in, the form filled itself in — a rep scanned, and all anyone had to add was the value and the notes.
Then we made a game of it. Live leaderboard, most active networkers tracked in real time, and a digital draw at the end that handed a Nintendo Switch 2 to the top performer.
By the end of the afternoon: 185 pipelines logged, from 70 reps and 69 vendors in one room.
dressing the venue (and the screens).
Branding that held from the moment people walked in. A custom-built logo wall for the premium sponsors, colour-coded lanyards separating staff from vendors, and pull-up banners across the networking zones.
We designed the presentation decks and ran the graphics on the big screens for the whole agenda, keynote from Sir Clive Woodward included. And the glass trophies for the afternoon awards.
boots on the ground.
We didn’t build the tools and go home. While the updates and the networking were in full swing, we were out on the expo floor shooting photography and recording video interviews.
before, during and after.
The social ran the whole way through. Build-up in the weeks before to get the room filling, live coverage on the day, and a highlights cut afterwards so the event kept working long after everyone had gone home.
