what's included.

the kind of things we build.

If it runs on a server and saves you a job, we can probably build it. Bespoke software, built in County Durham. Here's where we usually start.

/ software

software built around how you actually work.

CRMs, portals, booking systems and dashboards — custom web apps that replace the spreadsheet held together with hope.

/ software

software built around how you actually work.

Custom web apps, CRMs, portals and dashboards — built around the way you already work.

have you tried
turning it off and on again?
/
crm systems.

Leads, customers, quotes and follow-ups in one place — built around your pipeline, not a generic one you have to bend to fit.

sales funnels.

Landing pages, forms, automated follow-up emails and tracking — so you can see exactly where enquiries come from and where they stall.

digital displays.

Screens for receptions, factories and shop windows, updated from a browser. Rotas, KPIs, menus or promos — no USB sticks required.

event check-in.

QR tickets, guest lists and door scanning that works on a phone — plus live numbers so you know who's actually turned up.

portals & dashboards.

Client and staff logins, document sharing, job tracking and live reporting — the numbers you need without exporting anything.

integrations & automation.

Talking to Xero, Stripe, Companies House, your website or anything with an API — so data stops being retyped by hand.

why custom?

software that fits you, not the other way round.

built to fit.

No paying for 200 features to use four. It does what your business does, in the order you do it.

no licence creep.

One build, not a per-user fee that grows every time you hire. You own it and the data in it.

grows with you.

Start with the bit that hurts most, add modules as you need them. Nothing has to be rebuilt to grow.

a human to ask.

Need a field adding or a report changing? Message us. No ticket queue in another timezone.

the technical bit.

built properly, hosted properly, and boring in all the right places.

built to last.

Modern, well-supported tooling, tested code and version control. Boring, maintainable choices — so the next developer isn't left guessing.

hosted and monitored.

Runs on our UK hosting with SSL, nightly backups and monitoring. If something breaks at 2am we know before you do.

secure by default.

Role-based logins, encrypted data, audit trails and GDPR-friendly handling. Your data stays yours, and stays in the UK.

how we build.

start small, ship early, then grow it.

No two-year projects that never launch. We get something useful in your hands quickly, then build on it.

01
the workshop.

We sit down and map how you actually work — including the bits currently held together by a spreadsheet.

02
scope & shape.

We agree what version one needs to do, what can wait, and what it'll cost. No surprises later.

03
build in the open.

You see it as it's built, on a live test link, so you can steer it rather than wait for a big reveal.

04
launch & train.

We put it live, migrate your existing data, and show the team how to use it properly.

05
iterate.

Real use always throws up ideas. We keep improving it as your business changes.

the questions.

things people always ask.

what sort of things can you actually build? +

CRMs, client and staff portals, booking and scheduling systems, quoting tools, job tracking, stock systems, event check-in, digital signage and reporting dashboards. If it runs on a server and saves you a job, it's fair game.

why custom instead of off-the-shelf software? +

If a product fits, use it — we'll tell you so. Custom makes sense when you're paying for features you don't use, bending your process to fit the tool, or stuck retyping data between systems.

what do you build it with? +

Mature, widely-used web technology on our UK hosting — nothing obscure or bespoke to us. That means your project can be picked up by any competent developer, not just by us.

how much does a web app cost? +

It depends entirely on scope, which is why we start with a workshop. We'll give you a fixed price for a defined version one rather than an open-ended day rate.

how long does it take? +

A focused first version is typically 6–12 weeks. We'd rather get something useful live early and build on it than disappear for a year.

who owns the code? +

You do. It's your system and your data. We can hand over the codebase if you ever want to take it elsewhere.

can it work with software we already use? +

Usually yes. If it has an API — Xero, Stripe, Outlook, Companies House, your website — we can connect to it so data flows instead of being retyped.

what happens after launch? +

We host, monitor, back up and maintain it, and pick up changes as you need them. Most clients keep us on a small monthly arrangement for exactly that.

can you take over an existing system? +

Often, yes. Send us what you've got and we'll have an honest look at whether it's worth continuing or starting fresh.
