Builda
We had just launched a slick new website and brand for Excelpoint. The new, simplified messaging was so effective that it sparked a bigger idea: a totally new company name.
The project originally started out as an exercise in simplification. Excelpoint had a genuinely brilliant software system. The only issue was the old website relied heavily on complicated technical jargon, making it hard for people to see just how good the product actually was. We updated the logo, redesigned the website, and stripped out the dense paragraphs so the value of the software was obvious immediately.
Then, the client made a massive, strategic call. The new, simplified direction felt so right that the old name simply did not fit anymore. Excelpoint was out. Builda was in.
We had to carefully transition their entire digital presence. That meant resetting the SEO strategy, migrating to a new domain, and building their Google Ads campaigns totally from scratch under the new brand name.
A massive shift, but absolutely the right one. Time to get building.
Excelpoint version 1.5
The initial logo refresh did not need to be a complete tear-down. We approached it as a version 1.5 evolution. The biggest change was the colour palette. The old brand relied heavily on red. However, during our discovery phase, one of their developers casually mentioned that red was the exact colour used for system error messages inside the software. That is definitely not the psychological trigger you want for your main brand. We immediately binned the warning-light red, switched to a fresh, trustworthy #0092a4, and rounded off the sharp edges of the design to make the whole identity feel much more modern and friendly.

translating the tech
With the visuals refreshed, we overhauled the website. The software itself was incredibly powerful, but the old site was bogged down by overcomplicated technical wording. We stripped that back entirely. We rewrote the copy to speak human, replacing dense paragraphs with clean, digestible benefits so users could instantly understand what the software did without needing a computer science degree.
building something new
Then came the pivot. When the client decided to rebrand to Builda, we had to start fresh with the visual identity. The new name gave us the perfect conceptual hook. Builda is all about modular construction, giving users the exact tools they need to put their own systems together. So, we designed a logo made out of literal building blocks. We used simple geometric shapes that physically construct the new logo, perfectly mirroring how the software works.
domain that acts as a headline
We rolled this new shape-based identity across a totally updated website. As part of the strategy, we secured the domain buildasystem.co.uk Suddenly, the web address was not just a destination. It was an active instruction. We built the entirely new marketing strategy around that single, clever premise. Build a CRM. Build a help desk. Build a case manager. Build a lead tracker. Everything finally clicked into place.
